The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has resigned from his position.
He was said to have given the need to take care of his health as the reason for his action.
It would be recalled that the former governor of Kano State emerged the national chairman of the APC in August 2023.
There were however indications that Ganduje may have simply bowed to pressure from within the party, going by party sources.
It was gathered that some forces within the party were not pleased with his leadership.
The party has, however, not released any statement about the development.
