The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, GOCOP, has expressed its condolences to its member, the publisher of NextEdition, Mrs. Victoria Ibanga, on the death of her husband.
The Guild expressed its sympathy in a condolence letter signed by its president, Mr. Danlami Nmodu, and the General Secretary, Mr. Sufuyan Ojeifo.
The letter was presented to Mrs. Ibanga during a visit to her home on Friday by a team lead by the Deputy President of GOCOP, Mr. Olumide Iyanda.
The letter reads in part: “On behalf of the Executive Committee and the entire membership of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, GOCOP, we extend our heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your husband.
“We received the sad news with deep sorrow. Please accept our sincere sympathy during this difficult period of grief and loss.
“We pray that the Almighty God will grant you, your children and the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace.
“Please accept, dear colleague, the assurances of our highest regards.”
