The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has announced the appointment of Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu as the new Corps Public Education Officer, CPEO.
His appointment takes effect from January 15, 2024, which marks the end of the ongoing Operation Zero Tolerance Special Patrol.
The appointment was announced on Tuesday in a statement issued by the Deputy Corps Public Education Officer, FRSC Headquarters, Abuja, Charles Edem.
Agu who has vast experience in the public education department of the corps, was the ACM in charge of Command Administration and Strategies.
He takes over from DCM Bisi Kazeem who has been redeployed to take charge of Training Department at the National Headquarters, Abuja.

Another senior officer redeployed is Deputy Corps Marshal Shehu Alkali Zaki, the erstwhile Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of Training Department.
He is to henceforth oversee the affairs of the Department of Operations.
In the statement, Edem explained that the new posting was part of the strategic initiative targeted at ensuring full realisation of the corporate strategic goals of the Corps for the year 2024.
He said the Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu, expressed confidence in the capacity and experiences of the newly redeployed senior officers to deliver on mandate as he charged them to bring their professional expertise for impactful leadership.
