The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, is COVID-19 positive and has gone into isolation.
The minister announced his status on Sunday on his Twitter handle.
He said he had throat irritation and did a COVID-19 test for which he came out positive.
Onyeama said he was praying for the best as he went into isolation at a health facility.
His tweet reads: “Did my fourth Covid-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive. That is life! Win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best. #StayHomeSaveLives #COVID19 #PTFCOVID19.”
