A Federal Government Special Town Hall meeting is slated for Thursday, October 25, 2018 in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

It will be hosted by the Oyo State Government.

The focus of the meeting will be focused on infrastructure in line with one of the cardinal objectives of the President Buhari-led administration of infrastructural revival and accelerated development of railways, roads, industries and power amongst others.

According to a statement issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Toye Arulogun, on Sunday, the meeting would be an avenue for the federal government’s delegation led by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, to communicate government’s policies and activities.

He said it would also give the opportunity to receive feedback on infrastructural development.

He disclosed that the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, would be the host.

Arulogun added that the meeting would provide a platform for stakeholders in the construction and transportation sectors, policy makers and the general public to gainfully engage with the federal cabinet ministers in discussing the journey so far, the challenges and the way forward in the provision of massive infrastructure within the limited resources of the nation.
