I still don’t know what Kemi Badenoch’s fixation about Nigeria is.
She’s not the first or only Nigerian to assume global recognition, but she can’t seem to drink water and drop cup without seeing the shadow of Nigeria hovering over it.
When she was campaigning to succeed BJ as PM, she said she won’t foist the kind of what’s going on in Nigeria on UK, and I’m like, where did that come from? How would she have even attempted it if she wanted to!
Of course, Abike Dabiri-Erewa and VP Shettima are not helping matters by tackling the Briton in their speeches, considering that as a politician in desperate need of acceptance for higher position, Mrs. Badenoch seems to have concluded that she can only prove her commitment and loyalty to Britain by thrashing her country of origin!
Ex-President Obasanjo gave the best response to her matter. When asked about Mrs. Badenoch, Obasanjo said he didn’t have anything to say about her because she’s a Briton. And that’s it.

But Mrs. Badenoch can do better with her politics. Last week, she was on a visit to US, yet her speeches were punctuated by her hallucinations about Nigeria.
If Mrs. Badenoch is suffering from PTSD on account of spending some of her youth years in Nigeria, she should go for therapy.
Okonjo-Iweala, Akin Adesina and plenty other Nigerians on international stage have successfully managed their expectations and utterances about a hard country they were born into.
Mrs. Badenoch should learn from them.
