I am very afraid for our country most especially the so-called ‘educated’ part of the country. The rates at which people are kpaing others to join the millionaire and billionaire race is alarming. I mean, people are killing their mothers, their girlfriends and their siblings just for money.
Guys, you live here, you see people being buried almost on a daily basis. None has ever been buried with their wealth (forget the nonsense of buying million-Naira caskets and hosting huge parties). What is the essence of acquiring all the wealth (if dead people’s body parts generate wealth), only to drop it off and kpai at the end of the day?

As a foolish, so-called rational person, what I would ask myself is – this person whose part I am aiming at getting, how much is their body (alive) worth to them? As in (apologies to Mr. Akinrinade) if the people being kpaid are not wealthy alive, how would their body parts create wealth for me when they are dead?
I know I am a foolish person, but when people curse me, I laugh – because I ask myself – how many of their prayers has worked? If your prayer hasn’t moved you beyond where you are, how do you think your curse would affect me? The other thing is, the babalawo, boka and dibia making these money rituals mostly live in grottos, are often unkempt and their abodes are nothing to write home about. My first attitude on seeing these people is – physician, heal yourself.
Sorry, I am back to work o jare. I can’t let you people earn me a query this early in the year. Eyin le mo. Na una sabi.
