EXTRA: Big Brother Naija: Adult show watched by children
In BBNaija House

Forget that Big Brother Naija Reality Show is rated 18+, it is not restricted to that age bracket. Children and teenagers watch it. Many parents are too preoccupied with their daily hustles that they don’t monitor what their kids watch. Again, there’s also the social media platforms where children can view the show.

What many people refuse to acknowledge is that s*x is one of the most loved shows/topics of this world. Porn sites are one of the most visited. Hypocrites pretend to hate porn but watch in their privacy.

I have never sat down to watch Big Brother shows because I do not understand what they’re trying to teach. I only get to see the nonsense that gives them plenty of money when the videos pop up on my timeline, like the one below.

This generation has gone naked. They enjoy flaunting their nakedness publicly. Most comedy skits now are about s*x and nudity and they are selling and trending.

That show debases humanity, particularly our womenfolk.

Our politicians know this and so they will allow our young ones to watch them, focus on them, and take their eyes and minds away from the weightier things that matter.

I think that show should be banned. I think the churches, being the moral compass of the society, should lead the campaign to ban that show.

America’s Got Talent or Britain’s Got Talent is a good show that gives the price money of $1m, which by our current exchange rate is over N1.5b. So, why can’t the creators think in that direction? Why must they focus on nudity and s*x?

Our young ones who should watch “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” are not interested because they do not know most of the answers and they were not allowed to expose their bodies. It was too elitist for them. So, the programme couldn’t continue. Big Brother Naija does not require an intellectual work.

I don’t care how much money BBN generates for the sponsors or the price money given to the participants and the eventual winner. That show debases humanity, particularly our womenfolk.

It is such a shame.
