The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has congratulated all Nigerian Muslim brothers and sisters on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
The message is contained in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Communications Strategy, Mr. Abimbola Tooki on Friday.
He extended his felicitations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, members of the Federal Executive Council, the National Assembly, members of the National Working Committee of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, and all Muslim faithful across Nigeria.
He noted that Ramadan is not merely a period of abstinence, but a sacred journey of the soul, a time of deep reflection, sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah.
Over the past month, millions of faithful have demonstrated unwavering commitment to the values of faith, patience, and selflessness, virtues that are not only essential to spiritual growth but are also foundational to nation-building.
Yilwatda urged Nigerians to carry forward the lessons of Ramadan into their daily lives by embracing unity, extending kindness to one another, and upholding justice and fairness in all dealings.
He emphasised that at a time when the nation continues to navigate complex challenges, the spirit of sacrifice and collective responsibility imbibed during Ramadan remained more relevant than ever.
The APC national chairman particularly commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfast leadership and resilience in steering the affairs of the nation, noting that the administration continues to take bold and necessary steps aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth, economic stability, and national cohesion.
He called on all Nigerians to continue to support the president in his quest to build a stronger and more prosperous country.
He further called on Nigerians to use the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to offer sincere prayers for the nation, praying that Almighty Allah grants President Bola Ahmed Tinubu divine wisdom, strength, and good health; guides the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, and all members of the Federal Executive Council; and blesses the nation’s armed forces and security agencies with courage and success in safeguarding the country.
He also prayed for unity, peace, and renewed hope across the land.
Yilwatda reaffirmed the commitment of the All Progressives Congress to the ideals of good governance, inclusiveness, and national development, assuring Nigerians that the party will continue to support policies and programmes that uplift lives and strengthen the nation’s democratic fabric.
He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the fasting, prayers, and acts of charity of all Muslim faithful as acts of Ibadah, and wished that their homes be filled with peace, their hearts with joy, and their lives with abundant blessings.
