Digital Day Expo: Ope-Davies to speak on digital cultures and entrepreneurship

The Director, Centre for Digital Humanities, University of Lagos, Professor Tunde Ope-Davies, will join other world class speakers at the 2024 Digital Day Expo.

Ope-Davies will speak on “Digital Cultures and Digital Entrepreneurship” at the event.

Scheduled to take place between June 5 and 6, 2024, the event organized by Intermarc Consulting will hold at Eko Hotels and Suits, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Ope-Davies was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the African Literary Metadata, ALMEDA.

ALMEDA is a five-year research project sponsored by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme which is domiciled at the University of Uppsala, Sweden.

Ope-Davies’ appointment was in recognition of his frontline role in promoting and sustaining Digital Humanities projects in Africa.

He is the founding Director and Principal Investigator at the Centre for Digital Humanities, CEDHUL, UNILAG.
