In a statement issued in Abeokuta by the Publicity Secretary of the APC in Ogun State, Mr. Tunde Oladunjoye, on Thursday, the party said: “Engr. Adebayo Dayo’s move, though should have happened much earlier, was a step in the right direction.

The party further assured of a level-playing field and equal opportunities for all, adding that, “as our leader and Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has always said ‘in the APC, there are no founder, there are no joiners. We are all stakeholders and family members.”

It expressed the hope that in the next couple of days, more members of the “asphyxiating Ogun State PDP will abandon it and join the gentleman, but hardworking governor in taking Ogun State to greater heights, thereby giving meaning to the slogan ‘Igbega ipinle Ogun, ajose gbogbo wa ni.”
