For the first time in many months, the number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria per day has gone down below 100.
On Sunday, the number of cases recorded is 86.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, made this known on its Twitter handle on Sunday.
The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has the highest number of 33, followed by Lagos with 28 new cases.
The total number of infections in the country so far is 161,737.
