Lagos State has recorded the second death among its coronavirus patients.

He is a 36 years old man.

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, made this known on Sunday on his Twitter handle.

His words: “We lost a #COVID19 patient; a 36-year-old Nigerian, male, who died in a private facility on April 4, 2020.

“The total number of #COVID19 patients who have died are now two.”

It would be recalled that Lagos has the highest number of patients.

They are 115.

The last announcement made by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, earlier in the day indicated that of the ten new cases confirmed, six were from Lagos.
