The suspected serial killer in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, Sunday Shodipe, who fled from police custody, has been re-arrested.
His arrest was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Olugbenga Fadeyi.
The 19 years old suspect was held in July over killings in Akinyele area of Lagos and was arraigned for same in court.
He, however, escaped from police custody on August 11, 2020.
The police soon declared him wanted placing a N500,000 bounty on him.
Two policemen were arrested in connection with his escape.
The Inspector General of Police, Muhammed Adamu, also sent a crack team of detectives to help the operatives in Oyo State to arrest him.
