Next Sunday’s discourse on genetic perspectives on paternity disputes in Nigerian families on the popular monthly interview programme, Boiling Point Arena, promises to be an explosive encounter.
Two internationally-acclaimed genetic experts, Prof Olufunmilayo Adebambo and Prof Ikhide Imumorin, are the Guest Speakers to lead the discussion billed to hold on Sunday October 12, 2025 for a two-hour duration from 8pm.
The experts are to dissect the increasingly volatile issue of DNA Dilemma and how paternity testing is redefining marital relationships and tearing families apart in Nigeria.
The global online discourse will hold via Zoom and to be broadcast live on six radio stations across Lagos, Ogun and Delta States.

The 36th episode, a special third anniversary edition, is titled: “Genetic Revelations: Unravelling the Conundrum of Paternity Disputes in Modern Families.”
Emeritus Prof Olufunmilayo Adebambo, one of the experts, retired from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB, and is, in fact, acclaimed to be the first female Professor of Animal Breeding, Genetics and Biotechnology in Nigeria.

For his part, Prof Ikhide Imumorin, who is based in San Diego, United States of America, is a key practitioner in the field.
He is of the California State University and also Chief Executive Officer, AfricanBio Medical Tests Ltd.
The duo of Prof Adebambo and Prof Imumorin are to offer insightful scientific perspectives on the issue of DNA otherwise called, Deoxyribonucleic acid, which is the molecule or hereditary material that carries genetic information for the development and functioning of an organism.
Expectedly, the discussants will also raise the bar of narratives on paternity testing and its emotional fallouts on family dynamics and the way forward for affected couples.
