The stage is set for Sunday’s discourse in the monthly interview programme, Boiling Point Arena on the increasingly volatile issue of DNA dilemma and paternity controversies tearing apart many families.
The programme which is already eliciting wide public interest holds tomorrow, Sunday, October 12, 2025 over a two-hour duration commencing from 8 p.m.
In Nigeria, there are scaring statistics as a recent report indicated that 25% of men who voluntarily took a paternity test were not biological fathers of their children.

Two internationally acclaimed Genetic experts, Emeritus Prof Olufunmilayo Adebambo, Nigeria’s first female Professor of Animal Breeding, Genetics and Biotechnology, and Prof Ikhide Imumorin, who is based in San Diego, United States of America, are to lead the discussion.

Expectedly, the discussants will also raise the bar of narratives on paternity testing and its emotional fallouts on family dynamics as well as how paternity conflicts are redefining marital relationships and tearing families apart in Nigeria.
Prof Adebambo retired from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB, while Prof Imumorin is of the California State University and also Chief Executive Officer, AfricanBio Medical Tests Ltd.
Foremost traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba (Prof) Saka Matemilola is the Keynote Speaker and Chair to herald the discourse.
