Barcelona on Saturday defeated Getafe 2-0 away to extend their lead at the top of LaLiga.
The victory moved Barcelona to 85 points, 11 ahead of second-placed Real Madrid with five matches remaining.
Real Madrid had earlier played a 1-1 draw with Real Betis on Friday, weakening their title challenge.
Getafe held Barcelona for much of the first half, frustrating their attacking efforts.
Fermin Lopez broke the deadlock after connecting with a through pass from Pedri to score.
Marcus Rashford sealed the victory after a solo run from midfield, finishing past the goalkeeper.
The win marked Barcelona’s ninth consecutive league victory as they strengthened their title pursuit.
