The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Monday.
He was on a visit to former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
The former vice president was accompanied on the visit by former governor of Cross River, Liyel Imoke, and former governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal.

The former vice president was received at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, where he had a meeting with his former boss for about two hours.
The former president did not give details of his meeting with Atiku despite enquiries by journalists.
“Don’t ask me anything. I’m not going to comment on 2027 politics,” Obasanjo said.
