The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Thursday visited the family of the late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, saying that his late boss would never be forgotten.
The governor spoke when he led members of the State Executive Council on a condolence visit to the Ibadan, Oyo State, residence of the Akeredolus to commiserate with the family.
The former First Lady, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, family members and others were present.
Akeredolu died on Wednesday in Germany following complication that arose as a result of prostate cancer.

The governor said Akeredolu would not be forgotten as his legacies and impact were felt across the country.
He described his former boss as a sincere, courageous, selfless and patriotic leader who fought for his people, championed development and touched many lives.
Aiyedatiwa said Akeredolu was very compassionate, adding that he was privileged to have undergone tutelage under him.
The governor said that the death of his late boss was a great loss to Ondo State, the Southwest region and Nigeria at large.
He pointed out that Akeredolu’s struggle for a peaceful, fair and just society was one that could never be forgotten in a hurry.
Pastor Kola Akeredolu, younger brother of the former governor, who responded on behalf of the family thanked the delegation for the visit.
Prayers were offered for the family while Aiyedatiwa led others to sign the condolence register.
