The Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, is bereaved: His father, Lamidi Adams, is dead.
Aged 80, he died on Saturday at a Lagos hospital.
In a statement issued by his family, Pa Adams was a private transport business operator.
He is survived by Chief Gani Adams and many other children.
