The Olubadan of Ibadaland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin has joined his ancestors.
He was 90 years old.
It was gathered that the king passed on Monday morning.
Oba Owolabi Olakulehin who succeeded Oba Lekan Balogun received the staff of office as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland in July, 2024.
In his acceptance speech then after the presentation of staff of office by the governor of Oyo State, Mr. Seyi Makinde, the Olubadan pledged to rule the ancient city in a way that would fast-track more development.
He equally appreciated the federal and state governments for their contributions toward the success of the coronation.
