Senator Ali Ndume representing Borno South for the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been removed as the Chief Whip of the Senate.
He has immediately been replaced with the Senator representing Borno North, Sen. Mohammed Monguno.
The removal followed a complaint by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in a letter signed by its national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, to the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

The political party complained of alleged unbecoming utterances of Ndume.
The reason forms the title of the letter: “Complaints Against the Unbecoming Utterances of Sen. Ali Ndume.”
The letter was read by Akpabio during plenary on Wednesday.
