A 17 years old student of Government Secondary School, Gboko, Benue State, Terhemba Tyochivir, has committed suicide.
The Police command in Benue State made this known on Friday.
The police said the boy committed suicide on Thursday in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Sewuese Anene, who confirmed the incident, the details was at the time of going to press remained sketchy.
She said that the deceased was rushed to Bishop Murray Hospital Makurdi, where doctors confirmed him dead.
Efforts to talk to the father of the deceased, Mr Kula Tyochivir, proved abortive as he insisted on talking at another time.
