The Nigeria Police Force has declared that it will do everything possible to rescue Rev. Father John Bako and apprehend those responsible for his abduction in Kaduna State.
Bako was abducted at Ankuwa Village in Kachia local government area of the state.
The vow to apprehend the perpetrators of the crime was given by the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmad Abdurrahaman.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Yakubu Sabo, a team of policemen, led by Kachia Divisional Police Officer, some Police Mobile Force personnel and operatives from the command’s anti-kidnapping unit, had been dispatched to the village to do everything possible to ensure Bako’s rescue.
Bako was said to have been abducted on Monday at about 0800hrs when armed men invaded his residence.
