Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and his wife Edith, have tested positive for coronavirus.
This is coming few days after their daughter tested positive for the disease.
They had on Friday announced going into self-isolation after their daughter’s case.
Announcing the outcome of their test on Wednesday on his Twitter handle, Okowa said they would continue their self isolation.
His words: “My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter.”
