Renowned Nigerian security and intelligence expert, retired Commodore Kunle Olawunmi, has added another remarkable milestone to his distinguished career with his conferment as Senior Fellow of the African Security Forum, ASF.
The Forum is one of the continent’s foremost strategic platforms dedicated to advancing peace, security and intelligence collaboration across Africa.
The honour, conferred in recognition of his exceptional contributions to Africa’s security landscape, further cements Olawunmi’s growing reputation as one of the continent’s most respected authorities on counter-terrorism, strategic intelligence and national security.
The retired Naval officer, who currently serves as an Associate Professor of Global Counter-Terrorism at Chrisland University, Abeokuta, has over the years become a familiar voice on security matters, consistently providing insightful analyses on terrorism, insurgency, transnational crimes, intelligence gathering, maritime security and regional peacebuilding.
