The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has extended warm Christmas greetings and best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year to all Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora.

Yilwatda, in a statement by his media aide, Mr. Abimbola Tooki, made the greetings on behalf of the National Working Committee of the party.

The statement reads in part: “I specially felicitate our distinguished Governors across the federation, particularly the Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum, Senator Hope Uzodimma; the leadership and honourable members of the National Assembly; members of the National Working Committee; our committed State Chairmen and members of State Executive Committees; the Ward Executives; and the millions of faithful members of the APC whose loyalty and dedication continue to strengthen our party and our democracy.

“Christmas is a season of hope, sacrifice, love, and renewal. It offers us an opportunity to reflect on our shared humanity and to renew our collective faith in the promise of Nigeria. As we look ahead to the New Year, we do so with optimism and confidence in a brighter future.

“Under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the APC-led administration remains firmly guided by the Renewed Hope Agenda, a clear and courageous roadmap focused on economic recovery, institutional strengthening, social inclusion, national security, and sustainable development.

“While the journey of reform is demanding, these measures are necessary to secure long-term stability and prosperity for our nation.

To the Nigerian people, I wish to reassure you that your resilience and sacrifices are recognised and deeply valued. The Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to restore confidence, expand opportunities, protect the vulnerable, and build a Nigeria where progress is shared and the future is full of promise.

“To members of our great party at all levels, I commend your steadfastness and commitment to progressive governance. Your unity and discipline remain vital as we continue to support the administration and advance the ideals upon which our party was founded.

“As we celebrate Christmas and prepare to welcome the New Year, let us remain united in purpose, hopeful in spirit, and resolute in our determination to build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.

“I wish all Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a peaceful, successful, and rewarding New Year in advance.”
