Ope-Davies at 60: Public launch of seven books holds today

The public presentation of seven books written by the founder and director of Centre for Digital Humanities, University of Lagos, UNILAG, Professor ‘Tunde Ope-Davies, holds today.

The event which is designed to celebrate the author’s diamond anniversary will also witness the fund raising luncheon for special projects.

Themed “The Power of Research and Scholarship in Human Capital Development and Social Advancement”, the event will hold at the Jelili Omotola Multipurpose Hall (Opposite PG School) University of Lagos.

Commencement time is 11.00 a.m.

The immediate past Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, will be the Guest Speaker.

The event is organised in conjunction with Ope-Davies’ Committee of Friends, Mentees and Associates, chaired by Dr. Ayo Ogunsan.
